Affordable Housing in Providence
Passive Circular Home

This project proposes an affordable housing template. The house is built in a perfect circle for a substantial passive heating and cooling system, as well as cutting costs on building materials. Water systems are stacked in a centralized core to allow for greywater re-use, and a composting toilet system. A sloped roof allows for rain collection, and a clip on rain-screen creates a perfect wall. Built with hempcrete, a sustainable CMU, clip on systems are integrated into each component of the house including, removable-washable-fabric walls, and an exterior cladding.
