In this symposium, we invited five talented researchers and designers to elaborate on the subject of developing and challenging our current system of knowledge. 

 

 

Towards a Practice of Refusal

 

To challenge the parameters of knowledge that are currently legitimized in the field of art and design is to refuse its inherent inequities. Through this symposium, we wish to give voice to people and practices who renounce complacency and engage in expanding towards a post-colonial practice of knowledge assimilation and production.
